WitW - Session 19

Let’s go back in time a little but since it's been a few weeks.

The party finished their business in Tradeburg, and made their way to the Winter Court. Horace by himself with some cold resistant boots, and Almyre and Jeatz via a prisoner transport courtesy of Thitoff Thunderbane.

Once to the winter court, Eirlys betrayed Thunderbane saying he was the one to kill Red Eye, letting the pair of casters go free if they would investigate and eliminate the Cult of the Ice Wyrm that had become a nuisance. Reunited with Horace, Bronto, and Tharun. They decided on to investigate the cult, but not go in guns blazing. They did their best, but were too suspicious, and they were taken to Miven, their leader, thanks to Bronto's parlay.

Miven told them it would be dangerous, and there's nothing they could do to stop Glacius from awakening. They went anyway and killed Galcius' most powerful child. However, in the heat of Battle, they were not able to save Almyre from the stomach of the beast and she perished.

Glacius made a deal with the party. They had shown immense strength and she would like to mate with them - for the party members to be the heir to the next generation of Ice Worms, and in return, Glacius would resurrect Almyre.

The party agreed, and into the water they jumped, ready to commune with Glacius.
