Criminal Quandaries - S20
After the long day of stealing things, the party took a much deserved long rest. After waking up, Norrix was interested in the long term goals, and urged them to think about while they lay low for the week. They all generally share the same goal of making bank, but for some, that soon would change as they ventured into the city.
In his off time, Gus went to a pantheon, and prayed to Boldrei Asking for Guidance to help find his parents. Kaige went to the seedy spots of town and spent her time fighting. Not only did she win against every opponent with ease, but she also brought her party a bit of cash as well. Meanwhile, Yeet went to visit Krennick's house, but noticed Barnaby was tailing him. Luring Barnaby into an Alley, Yeet blew him away with a 4th level shatter, drawing the attention of a few guards. Yeet played coy, but, not losing his cool, killed the guards in one fell swoop with a fireball. He successfully avoids any further suspicion, and after a failed attempt to sneak unnder the gate allows himself to get caught. Yeet smoothly brings up his Lover's letter, Clarissa. The guard's demeanor changed as they informed Yeet, that Clarissa has been missing and suspected kidnapped.
Later that week, Bastle went looking for someone to upgrade his rope dart, but in the meantime, he wanted a few questions answered regarding his new body. He found Luthias at his house cleaning up after someone had raided it. Luthias said he found the body in a junk pile outside House Cannith, but told him that Circuit would know more. Finally reaching Circuit at the Collective, he was able to find out that The body's name was Vincent, and he was an experiment that was stolen. From Estrum.
Gus followed up on Gola's lead to meet the guy at the fountain. He learned there were a few people imprisoned and servant that might have matched the description, but none of them were Gus's Parents. JG did say, however that he suspected House Cannith to be making warforged in the City. He walked by Keep Cannith and got a ping from his Locate Creature Spell from underground before it suddenly disappeared.
Kaige did some shopping while Yeet met with Ramsey. Ramsey said he found a powerful instrument the bard's college was holding onto, but they wouldn't let him see it since he expressed interest in purchasing it. As they parted, Ramsey told Yeet his mom was coming to town.
Kaige came across and old army friend, whose gave her some bracers, but Kaige turned him away saying she couldn't make him into something.
