WitW - Session 13
The party was settling in the Whispering willow tavern. Thistle Blossomblade beckoned Jeatz to come chat, but he first stopped by to give Cece Emberwhisper a tip for her playing. Thistle invited him and his friends to come visit him at his academy on the morrow.
Before heading up to their rooms, Almyre fancied speaking to her brother, so the party headed to the summer warehouse in the night. Almyre flashed her hourgalss, the emblem of her people, while the rest of the party hid. "Alura" asked to see her brother even if the guard had to wake Amir.
Amir welcomed them in, but was immediately cold to his sister saying she wounded him by abandoning her responsibilities and leaving the Summer Court and commiserating with the rabble of the other courts. The party took Almyre's side, but Amir bid them leave saying she may come to her senses.
They made their way back to the tavern but were intercepted by Cece saying the four of them were in trouble with Lord Nox Bronzescale and the Grand Guard. She escorted them to her place where they slept and leveled up to 6! They admitted to clearing out the Winter Court warehouse. She knows Red Eye has power over Lord Nox, suspecting it's wealth-related. Cece thinks Red Eye might be holed up in Nox's office atop the Grand Exchange, and gave them a d8 bardic to use for the day thanks to Jeatz's smooth moves.
They take the long way around town to Blossomblade Academy where Thistle welcomed them in. Jeatz traded him the plate armor they stole from Frugal for training in Light Armor and some Studded Leather. He would also part with a magical blade he made if the party could bring back a Memory Letter his son left on the day he ran away and disappeared. Thistle thinks the only way his son may come back is if he has the letter.
There was much deliberation on how to get into the tower, but the ultimately settled on using the invisibility powder they found in Moss Hollow to climb the side of the tower. Unfortunately for them it was trapped power of Sneezing and Choking. This alerted guards that were curiously in Cece's house, but the party dispatched them quickly.
