This sage was given to Bastle after a troubling prophecy was revealed in Askelios. The fortune teller told Bastle to visit her sister in Fairhaven and give her the sage. Bastle has yet to reveal the fortune to the party-
“Scales, death, toad's last breath. Fire, blood, treasure hoard. All in smoke, friends now broke. Unseen Caper, fortune's Favor"
-
Received from Strahd just before leaving Shadowfell. The party was directed to use the ring to absorb souls to feed the vampires of shadowfell given the time dilation.
-
(Cursed Amulet) The party found this amulet after helping Dimak the Drunk halfling in Areksul. Fortunately, Kaige was cautious when picking it up so the party never touched it. Eventually Yeet threw it in the river after the close scrape with Blade in the abandoned warforged factory.
-
(No Attunement, 1 Action) While holding the coin the user can speak the activation word to siphon half of their current hitpoints, and some of their essence into the coin. While in this state, the user's HP Maximum is halved, speed is reduced by 10ft, and they can only use an action or bonus action on their turn. The user can speak the word again to return to the coin instantly, regaining the hit points siphoned into the coin. Any consumable resources used, do not return. Any ongoing effects the user suffered while using the coin remain when returning to the coin.
Should the user die while this effect is active, they return to the coin at 0 hp, but stabilized. If the coin is destroyed or on a different plane, while the effect is active, the user dies instantly.
-
(Requires Attunement) This magical tattoo needle can apply a barrier tattoo that gives the user 16 AC. In addition, these barriers can act as a shield in your time of Need. The user can cast Armor of Agathys at second level a number of times equal to their proficiency modifier per day.
-
This small black cauldron is imbued with the healing magic of Boldrei. Once per day, a user can touch the cauldron to cast Healing Word at first level, for 1d4+5 HP.
-
+1 Longsword. Legend says that snapping this tooth can cast the Wish spell, however, it’s almost certain it’s a fake created to cash in on the legend. A fake and the real artifact are indistinguishable until the user snaps the sword.
-
Received after defeating the Demi-God Chiani in the Ziggurat hidden by the druids. This was given to Gola as part of a bounty. However Gola didn’t indicate where the item would be going.
-
This pocketwatch was made by Estrum when he was young. Estrum said to turn the hands past 12 3 times if she ever needed him. Petra gave this pocketwatch to Bastle along with a letter.

Locations
-
The location of the relic the party was sent to find on their second excursion. This place was kept up by the druids, but inhabited by the Demi-God Chiani. There was a “portal” to shadowfell here where Chiani sent her kills. The Ziggurat was hidden by the druids behind a forest facade.
The temple was a huge murder mystery puzzle that ended with a questionnaire the party all failed on the first question.
-
A small town on the outskirts of the Aundair region. This town used to be a bustling stop on a popular trade route until the lightning rails spread across the continent. Gola runs the Collective in this small town. It’s also where the party first met when going to do a hit-job on a prison transport. Just east of town, north of the Starspeaks mountains lies a small druidic community.
-
This factory was situated just outside Fairhaven. It belongs to house Cannith, but was abandoned in favor of more modern production methods. However, Cannith still protects it with automated sentries that alert the house if something goes wrong. Here, the party stole a soul channel which is used to transfer souls from a vial to a warforged, giving them life. There is also a hidden cave behind the waterfall the party did not explore.
-
A village halfway between Askelios and Fiarhaven. This place was razed by a bone dragon recently. Here the party stole souls from an infirmary and got a halfling killed with a cursed amulet. They left that same night, not wanting to stick around.
-
This maze is situated in fairhaven. It can act as a front for many businesses like a bookstore, stable, or clothing store. The maze-like structure has many hidden doors to deter any intruders. Fortunately that hasn't happened since Norrix’s tenure started.
The Hideout sits on a main sewer line so the organization can move through the city with relative secrecy. (the city uses use magic to mask the smell for the whole system)
-
“The Capitol of Magic” in the world of Eberron. Magic flows free here. Organizations war with one another for power and seedy organizations sell bootleg enchantments. Anything is possible here.
The city is run by the King, Horace Middlenight, with the guidance of the Council of Wood. The city has been generally peaceful since the Mourning, however there has recently been some turbulence between houses Cannith and Tharashk, however, the ever-faithful General Highcall will ensure the city stays stable at any cost.
NPCs
-
A toad-folk hailing from gods know where. His smooth talking pulled the party together promising a way out of their debts. He runs the collective out of Askelios, although it’s a relatively small operation. He was initially hard on the party since they screwed up their first heist, however Gola has come around on them.
The party hasn’t asked much about him, which Gola seems pretty indifferent about since he shipped them off to fairhaven.
-
Norrix is the fearless dragonborn leader of the Collective. She’s ruthless, but knows how to get what she wants if it means acting soft. She has successfully led the collective for nearly a decade without catching the ire of the City’s police forces.
She tends to be a loner when not directing others, and is not quick to trust, but she did let slip that she needs the party to be on her side should Houses Tharashk and Cannith go to war in Fairhaven. Norrix has found success in playing under both houses radar, and she doesn’t want that to change now.
-
Strahd is not a name to take lightly. Effectively the God of shadow, no one gets out without his say so. His son, Alucard resents him since he didn’t force his mother, Alyssa, to turn into a vampire.
Strahd, however was bemused by the party and impressed they were able to kill his least favorite wife, Volenta. He allowed the party to return to the material plane, but only if they would steal the souls of those they killed in order to keep shadowfell vampires fed.
He was serious about the party keeping their pact.
-
A gnome-artificer, she is a live wire. She’s also a defector from house Cannith. Loyal to Norrix, and hates the pesky Luthias- always asking questions.
-
A high elf-artificer, Luthias has lost his sight due to his insatiable curiosity regarding the warforged. He bothered house Cannith so much they cut his eyes out to stop him from snooping. In true Luthias fashion, he just made an invention to help him see again.
-
A mysterious figure Bastle heard talking to him in shadowfell. He was working with Alucard to build a device to allow them to leave shadowfell without the need for Strahd.
-
The most powerful Paladin in Fairhaven. This hulking human fights for the crown alone. He is constantly at war with Krennick Tharask and Blade to protect the interests of the city and not let any one other house become more powerful.
-
Krennick is the leader of Tharashk house. He sits on the council of wood advising the king of Fairhaven. Krennick is the Minister of the Arcane handling the research and handling of magic in Khorvaire. He also serves as a liaison between the College of Fairhaven and the city proper.
Krennick’s is an incredibly powerful Human Wizard, and he leads his house with his equally powerful wife, Aura, the Elf. Together, they have a daughter, Clarissa, who had a fling with none other than Yeetsham. Their families are rather close.
-
A creation of the late Quinta Cannith, the previous leader of the House. Blade has taken over the house from the flimsy boy, Cory Cannith.
In the last year, Blade has united the once divided house Cannith through force. Blade has his eyes set on controlling Fairhaven through making the city rely on warforged technology. Blade has also taken a seat on the council of wood as the Minister of Arms.

World Lore
-
No one knows how it happened or why, but the mourning happened two years ago. The event glassed the nation of Cyre, a once powerful nation. All were presumed dead. While it sounds like ancient history, this event is still rocking the world. Khorvaire fell into a peace quickly over fears of this happening to their own Nations, but people forget fear quickly. The dragonmarked houses are still fighting behind the scenes while the formal powers have formed a council to try to maintain peace.
Rumors abound regarding what triggered the mourning- a curse by a powerful lich, the progenitor dragons’ revenge, an attack from another plane, and so on.
Will the party try to solve the mystery, or simply take advantage of it’s destabilizing effect on the world around them?
-
The mourning rocked the world to it’s core, and since then, the people have largely abandoned religion, but a few strong in their beliefs live on. A comprehensive list can be found HERE.
Please note, I generally haven’t considered these religions, but will use them if you bring them up as a potential resource for your characters.

Every world has a creation myth and Eberron is no different. Every child knows the story of the Progenitor Dragons: Siberys, Eberron, and Khyber. In the dawn of time, these three cosmic beings created thirteen planes of existence, each embodying a concept. Their final work was the Material Plane, where all ideas would become manifest: a realm that could know war and peace, life and death, order and chaos. But cruel Khyber sought ultimate dominion over this new reality. She struck Siberys without warning and tore him apart. Eberron wrestled with Khyber and bound the traitor in her coils but could not defeat Khyber alone. So, Eberron became a living prison, a world that would forever contain Khyber's evil.
-
Eberron - Mortal/Material Plane - Created as a Prison for Khyber, Eberron is literally a dragon formed into a world. All manner of creatures inhabit this place, and the continent of Khorvaire is just one part of it.
Shadowfell - Vampire Purgatory - Created by the Evil Khyber, this plane serves as a torturous realm to satisfy Khyber’s twiested sensibilities. Endless suffering as a Vampire due to the time dilation or endless suffering as a mortal should you end up here by near endless life, but constant exhaustion.
Thelanis - Feywild - A Land of Magic and Whimsy created by Siberys. This place is true unchecked magical power. No one knows how to get in or out, but its magic has seeped into the material plane giving Eberron its vast stores of magical creatures and artifacts.
